How do I claim a manufacturer's warranty?
Not every manufacturer offers warranties. If the product does have a warranty, you will typically find that information listed on our website alongside its features and price.
If your product is simply defective, please contact our customer relations department via email . We can determine if the item is covered under the manufacturer's warranty and get your return squared away.
What happens if I purchase an item on backorder?
If an item is on backorder, you have a couple of options. Orders are filled in the order they are received. If you would like to hold a place in line, don't make any changes to your order. The moment your backordered item becomes available, we will ship it out via UPS Ground at no additional charge.
Don't feel like waiting? We'll help you replace the backordered item with a similar in-stock item.
You can also remove the backordered item from your order for a full refund. This will not affect any other in-stock items on your order; those items will ship immediately.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we can't ship outside of the states. It's unfortunate, but U.S. Customs and many of our manufacturers place restrictions on products shipped outside of the United States. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Are you sending a gift? Make sure to include the service member's grade, full name (including middle name or initial) and Personnel Service Center (PSC) number, unit number or ship name. Don't forget to replace the city name with APO or FPO, and the state with Armed Forces Americas (AA), Armed Forces of Europe (AE) or Armed Forces Pacific (AP). Also, be sure to use the special zip code that the recipient can supply.
Allow six weeks for delivery. All orders sent to APO/FPO-based address must be delivered by the United States Postal System (USPS). Please remember that the USPS does not ship items containing Lithium batteries overseas.

What is the difference between ripstop and twill fabrics?
Twill and ripstop refer to specific types of fabric weaves. Guilty of ripping your fair share of pants? You'll want to order that next pair in ripstop. It can be identified by its unique checkerboard pattern and has coarse fibers ribbed at intervals that reduce tears and abrasions. Its lightweight and sturdy characteristics boast both wind and water resistance.
Twill has uneven texture and design, which helps minimizes the appearance of stains and soils. This fabric is more pliable than others and often packs a higher thread count. These high-count twills are wind, water and wrinkle resistant. You'll be able to identify twill by its diagonal lines.
Is water resistant the same as waterproof?
Water resistant means that an item can withstand rain, snow and wet weather. Do not submerge this type of gear in water, unless you want to ruin it. Water-resistant fabrics keep water from being absorbed—water will just bead off the fabric.
On the other hand, if you're more of a water-bound operator, stock up on waterproof gear. It's specifically designed to be completely submerged in water and still provide top-notch performance.
What is the difference between poly-cotton and nylon-cotton fabrics?
Poly-cotton fabric is a synthetic fabric blend that combines the advantages of cotton and polyester—it's breathable, comfortable and tear-resistant. Poly-cotton will run you a lot less than 100 percent cotton; however, it is not as breathable as 100 percent cotton. This would not be the ideal fabric to wear in hot weather.
Nylon-cotton fabric is a blend of nylon and cotton. Some call it NYCO. The nylon adds strength and abrasion resistance, and the cotton provides breathability and moisture absorption. This fabric is often used for military uniforms and high-performance sportswear. Unlike the poly-cotton blend, NYCO does not melt if it catches on fire.
How can I match uniform coats, shirts and pants?
The best way to ensure an exact match is to purchase each item in the same color, fabric and brand.
What is Berry compliance?
Berry compliance is a term that is derived from the Berry Amendment. The Berry Amendment requires the U.S. Department of the Defense to give procurement preference to USA-made goods. Berry compliant products are 100 percent American made, including materials and labor. Some companies will offer both domestically and imported versions of products. This information will be noted on the product detail page.
What is GSA compliance?
GSA compliance is a result of the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). Products listed as GSA compliant mean those items have been manufactured or "substantially transformed" within a designated country. These designated countries include the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement Countries, Free Trade Agreement Countries, Least Developed Countries and Caribbean Basin Countries. A full list can be found here.
Can a product be GSA compliant and not Berry compliant?
Yes. Berry-compliant products are 100 percent made and assembled in the U.S. A GSA-compliant product can be made outside of the U.S. as long it was manufactured within a TAA-designated county.
What does the "new" designation mean?
We place a "new" designation to alert customers to products that are new to the market. This designation remains on new products for 60 days.
How is the "new" designation different from the "new color" designation?
The "new" designation denotes new-to-market products, while the "new color" designation shows up when an already-available product is available in a new color.
How do pre-orders work?
Products set to arrive in 30 days or less receive a "pre-order" designation. Pre-orders exist so you can hold your place in line for the newest, hottest items. You'll be one of the first to receive it! We ship pre-order items as soon as it's humanly possible. When it does ship, we'll notify you via email. If there are additional items on your order that are in stock, they will ship within the next 1-2 business days.
What does the "preview" designation mean?
Items that feature the "preview" designation are recently announced products that are not yet available for purchase. When the manufacturer gives us a firm release date on preview products, we will list that date on the product detail page. Preview products can be pre-ordered within 30 days of its expected arrival date.
Do you offer uniform customization?
If you need an embroidered name tape, you're in luck! We offer customized embroidery on a variety of patterns, and we've made it easy for you to order just what you need to complete your uniform.
Currently, all customized name tapes are unattached.
Sizing
How do I measure my inseam?
Grab a pair of your best fitting pants, lay them on the table, and measure the inside from crotch to the hem. You can also have a friend measure you. Stand in an upright, relaxed position. Have your friend measure your right leg from the underside of the crotch to the bottom of your ankle. Then have them measure the left leg.
Where can I find a size chart for specific products?
You can find that information on our website below the product's features and price.
Do any products run larger/wider or smaller/narrower than usual?
If we find a product does not fit true to size, we will place a prominent disclaimer on the product page. The disclaimer is based on feedback from customers and suppliers. However, this disclaimer is merely a suggestion—it is important to remember that sizing varies from person to person.
